Mr. Arif Mammadov is a career diplomat currently serving as the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Hellenic Republic since October 2023. He holds multiple academic degrees in International Relations and Business Administration from institutions in Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, and Canada. Over the course of his diplomatic career, Mr. Mammadov has held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Azerbaijani embassies in the Czech Republic, Canada, and Switzerland. He has also served in senior roles within the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan and as Chairman of the Governing
Board of the State Maritime and Port Agency.
Mr. Mammadov is fluent in English and Russian. He is married and has two children.
